The meeting point is OUTSIDE of the entrance of Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø City Centre. Please be there 10 minutes prior departure time. Departure time: 07:45 AM
What to expect
Departure time: 07:45 AM.
Your experience begins with transport from Tromsø to our small kennel in Straumsbukta on Kvaløya. Here, you will meet our enthusiastic family of huskies.
When you and the dogs are dressed up it is time for fun on the trails!
Sit back and enjoy the ride as our experienced musher drives the team through the autumn landscape.
Two guests share each wagon, giving you plenty of space to enjoy the experience together while watching the dogs work as a team.
As the huskies run, you can take in the fresh Arctic air, colourful autumn scenery and beautiful surroundings of Kvaløya.
We also invite you into our traditional lavvu, where you can warm up with hot drinks and enjoy some biscuits while you relax and listen to stories.
There is also time to meet the huskies up close, learn about their individual personalities and ask your guide questions about life with sled dogs.
With a maximum of 8 guests, we keep the experience personal and relaxed.
