Meeting and pickup
Free parking is just before the entrance to Cats Paw Marina. ADA access is available inside the marina gate. There is a sign for all NON-ADA parking. The boat is on the upper pier out past the Grouper Shack Restaurant.

Fort Matanzas National Monument (Pass by)
Step aboard at our dock on the San Sebastian River for a scenic cruise south along Florida’s beautiful coastal waterways. Enjoy peaceful salt marshes and the natural beauty surrounding Faver-Dykes State Park before stopping at Fort Matanzas National Monument. Completed by the Spanish in 1742, this coquina watchtower guarded Matanzas Inlet and protected St. Augustine’s southern approach from enemy ships. It’s a memorable journey combining time on the water, coastal scenery, and a glimpse into nearly three centuries of local history. Castillo de San Marcos National Monument (Pass by)
Take in a striking view of Castillo de San Marcos as we cruise across Matanzas Bay. From the water, its broad stone walls and distinctive corner bastions reveal the fortress’s commanding position along St. Augustine’s historic waterfront. Built by the Spanish between 1672 and 1695 to defend the city and its harbor, it is the oldest masonry fort in the continental United States. Constructed from coquina—a local stone made of shells—the fort withstood sieges and was never captured in battle. Enjoy a memorable waterfront perspective on this enduring piece of St. Augustine’s history, with wonderful opportunities for photos along the way.
