I have been a tour guide in Lyon since I started my studies in 2023 and it has been a pleasure to show the wonders of the city to people from all over the globe, from the romantic Old Town typical of the Renaissance to the antique Roman ruins up on the hill of Fourvière. This year as I'm starting a new adventure with theatrical studies and deeper commitment in culture and history related jobs, I want to dedicate as much time as I possibly can to deliver the best tours you can dream of in this inimitable city filled with legends and stories. Meeting and pickup
We'll be meeting at the big horses fountain facing the Beaux Arts Museum. You can't miss it. I'll be wearing blue jeans, a dark blue jacket, and glasses. See you soon!
The tour ends on the parvis of Notre Dame de Fourvière's basilica, where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the whole city.

1Place des Terreaux
As the starting point of our tour, you will discover with me the story of this amazing place, from the fires of the city hall to the use of the square during the revolution for public executions.

2Place Bellecour
Welcome to one of France's biggest squares and Lyon's biggest. There are many tales to tell about this place, from Antiquity to Napoleon's Empire.

3Cathedrale Saint-Jean-Baptiste de Lyon
Symbol of the mastery of the medieval times, you will hear everything about the legends revolving around the cathedral, and even get a glimpse of the ruins of the former Roman church it was built on.

4Vieux Lyon
Time to explore one of the iconic areas of the city: Old Town! Let yourself wind through its secret passageways the locals call traboules and admire its unique Renaissance architecture as I tell you all about its status as the monarchy prized center of the silk and printing industry.

5Theatres Romains de Fourviere
It started it all here, more than 2000 years ago and we have the chance of still having a living proof of it to the eyes of everyone: Fourvière Roman theater, one of the oldest in France, and the emblem of Lugdunum's (ancient name of Lyon) status as Antiquity's second most influential capital right after Rome.
