Chase the northern lights around Fairbanks, Alaska, on a private tour with Maia Hartwigsen, an aurora guide and photographer who watches live space weather data to decide where to go each night. With only your group in the vehicle, the night runs at your pace, with longer stops for photography if you want them. The private tour is also the one to book for guests under 13, a wedding proposal, or anyone with mobility needs. Maia picks you up at your accommodations in Fairbanks and takes aurora portraits of each person and of the whole group.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Pickup time will vary depending on cloud cover and auroral activity and how far we may have to drive to see the aurora, but typical pickup times are around sunset. Do not schedule evening activities. We will pick up from any lodge/bnb/hotel within 20 miles of downtown Fairbanks. This includes e.g., Borealis Basecamp but does not include Chena Hot Springs Resort.

- We cannot guarantee that the aurora will appear during your tour, or how bright it will be. Once Maia picks you up, your tour has begun and is NOT refundable, even if the aurora is fainter than you hoped or no aurora is seen because of clouds or low auroral activity. If there is no aurora during your tour, photos may not be provided.
- Car seats are not available, so please bring your own if needed.
