The Pacific Coast Highway is best experienced in the golden hours before sunset, and that is exactly when we run this tour. Your English and Persian-speaking guide leads a small group of two to six along the cliffs of El Matador Beach, out onto Malibu Pier, and to a sunset viewpoint that no tour bus can reach comfortably, all from a chauffeur-driven black SUV that waits for you at every stop. Departure time shifts with the season so the sunset stop lines up. Hotel pickup and drop-off included, bottled water on board.

Hotel lobby pickup anywhere in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, West Hollywood, Santa Monica or Downtown Los Angeles. Your chauffeur meets you in the lobby in a black executive SUV. Please have your phone on; we text you when we arrive.

Pacific Coast Highway (Pass by)
Ride north along the Pacific Coast Highway with the ocean on your left and the Santa Monica Mountains on your right, with commentary from your guide.

1El Matador State Beach
Walk down to the cove at El Matador State Beach: sea caves, rock arches and the most photographed stretch of Malibu sand. Closed-toe shoes recommended for the staircase. El Matador State Beach involves a steep staircase down to the cove and back up. Guests who prefer not to make that descent can stay at the clifftop viewpoint, and the rest of the tour is unaffected.

2Malibu Pier
Stroll Malibu Pier, watch the surfers at Surfrider Beach and take photos over the water, then a sunset viewpoint along the coast before the drive back.
