Turn a short walk from Frankfurt's main station into a detective game. At each of 9 stops, the app points you to a real statue, fountain, monument or facade and challenges you with a question about it. The answer is never in a guidebook: it is hidden in the object itself, waiting for someone who looks closely. No history knowledge, no googling, just curiosity and a sharp eye. Every question is multiple choice, and every stop makes you see the city a little differently.
The loop leads from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof through the lively Bahnhofsviertel to the green Taunusanlage and back along the park belt, past fountains, memorials and modern art most visitors walk straight by. About 2.1 km, about 1.5 hours, ideal for a layover or a short stay.
Start any time during opening hours, at your own pace. After booking you receive a code: open the free app on your phone or in your browser, create an account, redeem the code for 10 gems and unlock this walk.
Self-guided: start at the main entrance of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (Bahnhofsvorplatz). Before you go, redeem your voucher code in the CuriFox Wallet and unlock this walk (see ticket instructions). The walk is a loop and ends back at the station.
Stop 1 of 9. The walk starts at the main entrance of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof, on the square in front of the station. Your first riddle waits right here, on the station building itself, and the loop returns to this same spot at the end.
Stops 2 to 4 of 9. The route leads from the station into the lively station quarter. Here the app sends you to street-level landmarks most travelers hurry past: a fountain, a monument, a decorated facade. At each one a question waits that you can only answer by looking closely at the object in front of you.
Stops 5 and 6 of 9. The turning point of the loop: a park in the shadow of the skyscrapers, where the story of Frankfurt's skyline and the nickname Mainhattan comes into view. Two riddles wait here before the route heads back towards the station.
Stops 7 and 8 of 9. On the way back the route follows the green belt south, past fountains, memorials and modern artworks that most visitors walk straight by. Two more questions here, each answered by spotting a detail on the object itself.
Stop 9 of 9. The loop closes where it began, back at the main station. The last riddle is solved here, which makes the walk easy to fit into a layover or the hour before a train.
