    Northwest Point Beach

    Park the ATVs where the track meets the coast and walk out to the point: the ruin of the old light tower with an osprey nest on top, tide pools at low tide, pelicans and ospreys, and a stretch of white sand with nobody on it. The reef runs close to shore here. This is a walk-and-look stop, not a swim stop; the currents on this side of the island are strong. Closed-toe shoes.
