Drive your own Jet Ski out to La Famille Express, the shipwreck that still stands in the open sea off Providenciales. Your guide rides ahead of you and leads the way. No license and no experience needed.
There is no landmark on the way out. You run across the turquoise flats behind your guide until a ship rises out of the water. Then you cut the engine and drift beside her rusted hull.
The tour is private: your group only, with its own guide. Each Jet Ski carries a driver and up to one passenger.

Heaving Down Rock Marina (also called Walkin Marina), at the very end of Leeward Highway. Look for the Caicos Rentals team at the marina. We do not offer hotel pickup. Please account for additional parking fees

1La Famille Express Shipwreck
Ride across open water to La Famille Express, a 189-foot freighter built in 1952. In 2004, during Hurricane Frances, she dragged her anchor and drifted almost 12 miles before she ran aground off Long Bay. She sits in shallow water about 2.3 miles offshore, and her hull still stands above the surface. Cut the engine and drift beside her. Nobody goes inside the wreck.
