Have you ever dreamed of breathing underwater and exploring the secrets of the Caribbean Sea? I experienced your first scuba diving in Playa del Carmen, designed especially for beginners. You don't need previous experience or to know how to swim perfectly.

How does the experience work?
Introductory class: We start with a simple and friendly explanation about the equipment, how to breathe underwater, and the basic safety rules.

Practice in the safe zone: We take the necessary time for you to familiarize yourself with all the equipment before entering the sea.

Sea adventure in the sea: When you are ready, we do the dive accompanied at all times by an expert instructor and in a small group (maximum 12 meters deep).

Meeting and pickup

Meeting point

The meeting point is at the marina of The Reef Hotel on Cocobeach in Playa del Carmen. Once you arrive at the hotel, you have to follow the public street that leads to the beach. The marina is on the beach and your guide will be waiting there. It will always answer to the company AWASCUBA.

What to expect

In Playa del Carmen we start with a simple explanation about the equipment, how to breathe underwater, and the basic safety rules. After that, we'll do a practice so you get familiar with the equipment, and when you're ready, we'll go out to sea.

The diving is done with an instructor, in a small group and to a maximum depth of 12 meters. You don't need previous experience or to know how to swim perfectly.

It is an ideal experience to discover what it feels like to breathe and move underwater for the first time.
