Hop aboard our panga-style fishing boat at Marina Vallarta for a 5-hour private fishing trip in Banderas Bay, designed for both first-time anglers and experienced fishermen. The captain and crew will take you to the day’s best fishing spots, set up your lines, and teach you techniques—from trolling to jigging—so all you have to worry about is having fun. Depending on the season, you might catch dorado, sailfish, roosterfish, horse mackerel, bonito, barrilete, pámpano, red snapper, or grouper. All rods, reels, tackle, and bait are included, so just bring your sense of adventure. Since this is a private tour, your group sets the pace: fish as long as you like, take photos with your catch, and enjoy the open sea and views of the coast. Our friendly crew makes sure everyone gets a chance to catch a fish. Your catch is cleaned and filleted so you can take it home or enjoy it fresh.

The fishing tour will begin at Los Peines Pier in Puerto Vallarta. When you go through the security checkpoint, please tell the staff that you are here for a boat fishing tour. Once you arrive at the pier, you can call us so our team can tell you where we’ll be boarding.

What to expect

1. Boarding at Los Peines Pier — 10 minutes
Meet your crew at Los Peines Pier in Puerto Vallarta and board the boat. Our captain will give you a brief introduction before departure.
2. Bait Collection — 10 minutes
We’ll make a short stop to collect fresh bait, depending on the fishing conditions and target species.
3. Fishing Adventure — Approximately 4 hours
We’ll head into Banderas Bay and begin trolling while searching for seasonal species. Depending on the conditions and where the fish are biting, we may explore different areas such as Boca de Tomates, Yelapa, Cerro Bola, Quimixto, Mismaloya, and other productive fishing spots. Our crew will use different techniques throughout the trip to give you the best chance of catching the species available that day.
4. Return & Disembark — 40 minutes
After the fishing adventure, we’ll return to Los Peines Pier, where you’ll disembark and conclude your experience.
