Experience The Epic Tale of Hi'iaka, a Broadway-scale production 15 years in the making. Award-winning performers, writers and musicians tell the story of Hi'iaka, favorite younger sister of the volcano goddess Pele, in a tale of loyalty, betrayal and resilience.
When Pele's spirit travels to Kaua'i and falls in love with the chief Lohi'au, she sends Hi'iaka on a perilous quest to bring him back to the volcano. With her magical skirt and her companion Wahine'oma'o, Hi'iaka battles mo'o, evil spirits and treacherous terrain across the islands.
Starring Grammy-nominated artist Amy Hanaiali'i as Pele and produced by the Hawaiian Council, a Native Hawaiian nonprofit. Your evening at Ocean's Edge at Ko Olina begins with Hawaiian cultural activities and, with dinner packages, a kiawe-grilled island buffet by Blue Island, led by Chef Luis Castro.
