    Today our staff will meet and greet you at San José (SJO) International Airport. After you have picked up your luggage and cleared customs you will be transferred to your hotel in the San José area. The drive takes approximately 20-45 minutes.

    Tortuguero Adventure

    Early departure from your hotel in San José, passing through Braulio Carrillo National Park, one of the largest national parks in Costa Rica. From there, we will continue to Tortuguero National Park, located on the northeastern Caribbean coast and famous for its canals that weave through the park. A stop for breakfast is included in the town of Guápiles. After breakfast, you will be transferred to the pier for a one-hour boat ride to the town of Tortuguero. During the boat ride, keep an eye out for a variety of birds and wildlife. After checking in at your Tortuguero hotel, a delicious lunch will be served. In the afternoon, join the guide for a visit to the local town to experience the culture and traditions of the Tortuguero community.

    Today, you will explore Tortuguero National Park by boat. This tropical sanctuary is home to more than 300 species of birds and a wide variety of wildlife, including monkeys, crocodiles, iguanas, and more. Discover the lush rainforest vegetation as you cruise through the park’s scenic canals. During your free time, you can also enjoy the hotel’s pool area, souvenir shop, hammocks, and walking trails. National Park entrance ticket is not included.

    After breakfast, you will return to the canals for your transfer to Arenal. Along the way, we will stop in the town of Guápiles for a delicious lunch. Then, you will be transferred to the Arenal rainforest area, home to the impressive Arenal Volcano.

    You will hike along a scenic trail at the base of the Arenal Volcano, leading you through lush rainforest. On this 2-hour guided hike, you will learn about the history of the majestic Arenal Volcano and its impact on our local area and community throughout the years. Marvel at the breathtaking views before continuing to the second highlight of the day! Ecotermales Hot Springs offers a more intimate and tranquil hot spring experience, surrounded by lush tropical rainforest. The naturally heated mineral waters flow through a series of beautifully designed pools with varying temperatures, creating the perfect setting for relaxation and rejuvenation. Enjoy the peaceful atmosphere while soaking in the therapeutic waters and immersing yourself in the beauty of Arenal’s natural surroundings.     This transfer from Arenal to Monteverde offers a unique and scenic route. Instead of the usual 4-hour drive around the lake, the journey takes approximately 3.5 hours, including a lake crossing. Upon reaching Lake Arenal, you will board a boat for a 30–40 minute ride across the lake.On the opposite shore, another van will be waiting to take you to your hotel in Monteverde.

    The Sky Walk Tour is a spectacular combination of suspension bridges and forest trails built within the Monteverde Cloud Forest. This peaceful and immersive experience takes you along a 1.7-mile circuit trail that winds through different layers of the forest's incredibly diverse ecosystem. The trail includes well-maintained paths as well as some uneven terrain, with moderate ascents and descents throughout the route. Along the way, you’ll encounter six impressive hanging bridges, ranging from 157 feet (48 meters) to 774 feet (236 meters) in length, and soaring up to 164 feet (50 meters) above the ground. These bridges offer breathtaking panoramic views and unforgettable encounters with the cloud forest’s flora and fauna.     After breakfast, you will be transferred to your last—but certainly not least—destination: Manuel Antonio, Quepos. Located on the Central Pacific coast, this is one of Costa Rica’s most visited beach destinations, renowned for its National Park. One of the highlights of this area is the unique opportunity to relax on the beach while enjoying the surrounding tropical rainforest. The transfer will take approximately 4 hours.

    Venture into this ecosystem and discover a world filled with tropical butterflies, exotic birds, monkeys, orchids, and much more. The park features three main trails, ranging from flat to steep terrain. For this tour, you’ll take the easiest, most scenic trail, a flat loop approximately 2 miles long that allows for a relaxed and enjoyable walk through the lush forest. The guide will share fascinating insights into the life cycles, behaviors, and special abilities of the park’s wildlife. A highlight of the experience is the chance to observe three of the four species of tropical monkeys found in Costa Rica—all residing within the park. Midway through the hike, you’ll take a leisurely break at the world-famous Third Beach. Here, you can relax on the sand or enjoy the warm Pacific waters. This stop lasts approximately 20 minutes.
