Take your best chance to see the Northern lights from Rovaniemi in small groups! With your personal guide, you will explore the nature of Lapland and hunt the magic of the Aurora Borealis. Professional camera and pictures are included in this tour.
On all our excursions, our groups are limited to 8 people maximum. It is very important for us to provide you with the best experience possible, and avoid mass tourism.
Are you looking for an extra guarantee to see the Northern Lights? If you choose the option with a 100% guarantee and the conditions are not favourable, we will reschedule the tour or cancel the tour and issue a full refund for you. The tour is considered successful when we are able to capture the Northern Lights on camera during the experience. If the Northern Lights are not captured on camera during the tour, you will receive a 100% refund. Please note that the Northern Lights may sometimes appear more vivid in photos than they do to the naked eye.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
If you're staying in Rovaniemi city center, please walk to our office at Rovakatu 24 as we no longer provide city pick-ups, supporting sustainable tourism. Staying outside the city center? Send us an email at least 48 hours before the tour and we'll arrange free pick-up within a 10-kilometre radius!
What to expect
This tour will offer you the opportunity to head into the Lapland wilderness and explore the arctic nature, hopefully with Northern Lights dancing over your heads! Your guide will share with you their knowledge about the forest, nature and wildlife, and the northern lights phenomenon. They will also teach you how to build a fire in the traditional way, using elements from your surroundings, and will serve you some hot beverages and Finnish snacks to warm you up.
They will also be equipped with a professional camera and take many pictures of you and the Northern Lights (a link to download them will be sent to you the next day).
