What to expect

This 2-hour tour packs in everything that makes the Gold Coast Broadwater special — a guided kayak across open water, snorkelling with hundreds of sub-tropical fish, and a hands-on fish feeding experience — all in a compact, easy-paced format perfect for first-timers, families, and travellers fitting it around a busy day.

Your guide will meet you at the water's edge in Biggera Waters. Once you're geared up and briefed, you'll launch onto the calm waters of the Broadwater and begin the paddle out to Wavebreak Island, a sheltered island just off the coast.

As you cross the Broadwater, keep your eyes on the water — dolphins, turtles and stingrays are frequently spotted on this stretch. No two tours are exactly the same.
At Wavebreak Island you'll snorkel directly off the beach, surrounded by hundreds of colourful sub-tropical fish in clear, shallow water. The fish feeding experience is a genuine highlight.

After snorkelling, you'll paddle back to shore with your guide, taking in the Gold Coast skyline views on the return leg. With two departure times available — 11am or 2pm — it's easy to slot this into any day on the coast.
