What's Included
Meeting and pickup
All trips are weather so departure times cannot be confirmed in advance. Guests must have the entire day available, as exact times are confirmed the day before and are non-negotiable. Please enquire if you need a transfer to and from your hotel. NOTE: TRANSFER'S ARE AN ADDITIONAL FEE.
What to expect
Your adventure begins in Simon’s Town with a safety briefing before heading out onto False Bay. Our experienced crew will take you to the best available wildlife viewing area, where you may encounter Bronze Whaler and Sevengill sharks, and perhaps dolphins and whales.
You’ll enter our shark cage using a surface-supplied Hookah system, which allows you to breathe normally underwater without needing a scuba qualification or having to hold your breath. This gives you more time to observe the sharks from the safety of the cage and experience them at close range.
You’ll also visit Seal Island, with opportunities to see Cape fur seals, seabirds, dolphins and whales depending on the season and conditions.
Our small-group trips (max 12) offer a more personal experience, with approximately 3–3½ hours on the water. Light refreshments are included, and our crew will share their knowledge of the sharks and False Bay marine environment throughout the trip.
