Beitou Public Library is an award-winning eco-friendly landmark surrounded by lush greenery in the heart of Beitou Park, designed to blend seamlessly with nature. Built with extensive wood and large glass windows, it uses natural light and ventilation to create a calm, sustainable reading environment that feels like a quiet forest retreat.
Shilin Night Market is Taipei’s largest and most iconic night market, famous for its vibrant atmosphere filled with glowing stalls, sizzling street food, and lively crowds. It’s a must-visit destination where visitors can experience Taiwan’s night market culture at its most energetic, from local snacks to shopping and entertainment.
※In case of poor weather, the itinerary for Yangmingshan National Park will be adjusted to Shilin Official Residence. Shilin Official Residence is a historic former residence of Taiwan’s late President Chiang Kai-shek and Madame Chiang, surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens that change with the seasons. The elegant Western-style architecture, combined with peaceful rose gardens and tree-lined paths, creates a refined and tranquil atmosphere that reflects both political history and graceful living.
