What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Complimentary pickup and drop-off are available from hotels within approximately 5 km of Thamel and central Kathmandu. Please provide your hotel name, complete address and WhatsApp number when booking.
The displayed pickup time is approximate. The exact time depends on the Lukla flight schedule and whether flights operate from Kathmandu or Ramechhap.
When flights operate from Ramechhap, pickup may be required between approximately 1:00 AM and 2:00 AM. Our team will confirm the final pickup time one day before departure.
Pickup outside central Kathmandu is subject to confirmation and may require an additional transfer charge. Travelers who do not require hotel pickup can meet us at the Scenic Nepal Treks office in Thamel.
Travelers who do not require hotel pickup should meet at the Scenic Nepal Treks & Expedition office on Bhagwati Marg in Thamel, Kathmandu. Please look for the “Scenic Nepal Treks.” sign at the entrance. Our team will meet you inside the office and introduce you to your trekking guide.
What to expect
The itinerary includes acclimatization days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche before continuing through Tengboche, Lobuche and Gorak Shep.
Itinerary:
Day 1: Fly to Lukla and trek to Phakding
Day 2: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar
Day 3: Acclimatization hike in Namche Bazaar
Day 4: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche
Day 5: Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche
Day 6: Acclimatization hike in Dingboche
Day 7: Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche
Day 8: Trek to Gorak Shep, visit Everest Base Camp and return to Gorak Shep
Day 9: Hike to Kala Patthar and descend to Pheriche
Day 10: Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar
Day 11: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla
Day 12: Fly to Kathmandu or Ramechhap and transfer to Kathmandu
Flight schedules, overnight locations and walking plans may change because of weather, trail conditions, flight operations or traveler safety.
