Just 15 minutes from Lucerne, discover one of Switzerland's most unique mountain experiences. Your journey begins aboard the historic funicular railway dating back to 1893 and continues on the world's unique CabriO aerial cableway with its open-air upper deck. A breathtaking panorama awaits you at the summit: enjoy views of 100 kilometres of the Swiss Alps and 10 Swiss lakes. Explore the 30-minute summit trail and take in the spectacular 360° view from the peak. The Stanserhorn Rangers are present on the mountain every day. If you meet them during your visit, don't hesitate to ask them about the local flora and fauna, the mountain's geography, or the fascinating history of the Stanserhorn Railway – they are always happy to share their knowledge. After your walk, relax in the self-service revolving restaurant Rondorama. Take a seat, enjoy regional specialities, and let the mountain scenery revolve around you as the restaurant completes one full rotation every 45 minutes.
