Meeting and pickup
A Vexperio assistant holding a Vexperio sign will welcome you as you exit your cruise terminal and give you directions to the coach parking area, where your tour guide and bus will be waiting.
The coach parking area is easy to find, with a green line marking the way. The walk takes approximately 5–20 minutes each way, depending on where your ship docks and your walking pace. We’ll send your meeting time, a map and detailed directions before your tour.

As you exit your cruise terminal in Marseille, a Vexperio assistant holding a Vexperio sign will be there to welcome you and direct you to the coach parking area, where your professional English-speaking local guide and comfortable, air-conditioned coach will be waiting. Designed specifically for cruise passengers, the tour schedule is carefully coordinated with your ship’s arrival and departure times. Once aboard, sit back and relax as you leave the port behind and head toward Marseille’s spectacular coastline. Scenic Coastal Drive - Corniche Kennedy. Sit back and enjoy one of France's most scenic coastal roads as your guide introduces Marseille's fascinating history, maritime traditions, elegant seaside villas, and breathtaking Mediterranean coastline. Perched 162 meters (531 feet) above Marseille, Notre-Dame de la Garde is the city's most iconic landmark and the highlight of your shore excursion. Known affectionately by locals as La Bonne Mère ("The Good Mother"), this magnificent basilica has watched over sailors and travelers for generations. - Please note: Reaching the Basilica of Notre-Dame de la Garde requires climbing approximately 170 steps from the coach parking area. Guests should be comfortable with moderate walking and stair climbing. Please note that the Basilica is an active place of worship, and access may occasionally be restricted during religious services or special events. In such cases, the visit will take place from the exterior, where your guide will share insights about the Basilica and its significance.
- Confirmation will be provided at the time of booking. For bookings made within 24 hours of the travel date, confirmation will be provided as soon as possible and is subject to availability.
- Vehicle access: Our coach cannot collect or drop off guests directly beside the ship. Guests walk to and from the coach parking area.
- Walking time: The estimated 5–20-minute walk depends on your ship’s berth and your walking pace; slower walkers may need longer. A transfer between your ship and the coach meeting point is not provided
- Meeting time: The displayed start time may be adjusted to your ship’s schedule. Please check the final meeting instructions sent before your tour.
- Assistant coverage: Terminal assistance is provided for Norwegian Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Holland America Line, Carnival, Oceania Cruises. Passengers from other ships should go directly to the coach meeting point. We will send exact instructions a few days prior to your tour.
