What to expect
Canyoning is an exciting and immersive outdoor adventure that will take you through the hidden waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, and breathtaking landscapes of Peneda-Gerês National Park – one of Portugal’s most beautiful natural treasures.
Accompanied by experienced guides, you’ll walk through forest paths, abseil (rappel) down waterfalls, slide down natural rock slides, jump into freshwater lagoons, and swim through river canyons carved over thousands of years. It’s an adrenaline-filled way to experience nature up close, and a memory you’ll never forget.
This activity is perfect for families, groups of friends, or adventurous couples. No previous experience is needed, just a sense of fun and a love for nature.
Children can join too, as long as they are at least 1.20m tall (3'11") and weigh over 20kg (44lbs).
