Cook and Eat with a Local in Sofia

Book Cook and Eat with a Local, an authentic food experience in the very center of Sofia. We are happy to welcome you to our home located within walking distance from the main sights in Sofia city center. You do not need any cooking skills. We are here to help. We will do the shopping, cooking and tasting together and you will learn to prepare Bulgarian food and you will get to know Bulgarian culture. We will share with you some of the small secrets of the local cuisine. And you will see that these are simple tricks but they make it all so tasty. Most of all, forget about the diet! Because on this day it is all about taste. We promise you a fun day in the kitchen!

P.S: Our cat Coco and the budgie Izida will be at the flat where we will cook. As long as you are not allergic, they will find a way to entertain you.

Our standard menu includes shopska salad, banitsa pastry, and yogurt with honey and walnuts. You will also have the opportunity to taste traditional Bulgarian drinks.

Alternative menu: We can prepare meatballs or moussaka. Please contact us if you would like a different menu option. Please note that any changes to the menu will incur an additional charge.
