We depart Hanoi between 7.15am to 7.30am from your hotel. Stop along the way for short break and Lunch. Around early afternoon, we arrive in Ha Giang. Take a eay hike around the village and settle in with a hotel for dinner and spending the night in a hotel. (Lunch and dinner are included).
This morning we hike around the villages and through scenic rice terraces. During our hike we take time to meet the local people at work, as they tend their seasonal crops and plough their paddies behind buffaloes.
En route, we see the Vuong Palace – the house of Vuong Chi Sinh, king of the Hmong people. Its architectural design is unique to Dong Van. Arriving in the town of Dong Van, a beautiful little town, we take a stroll around a local market and nearby villages. Tonight we stay overnight in a 3-star hotel.
This morning we hike through remote and beautiful countryside of Dong Van where we wind our way through the spectacular landscape and pass through several H’Mong ethnic villages and see the life of the local people growing terraced rice or tending their seasonal crops.
Afternoon finds us in the pass of Ma Pi Leng. Here we take a hike along beautiful mountains. We are rewarded with a brilliant backdrop of picturesque valleys covered in rice paddies. Late in this afternoon we arrive in Meo Vac for the night in a 2-star hotel.
After breakfast we set off to hike through the peaceful villages of Hmong people, between terraced farmland and along spectacular mountains.
Afternoon finds us driving due south to Quan Ba then on to the village of Nam Dam, home to a Dao ethnic community. Tonight we settle in with a local Dao family for the night in a traditional house.
This morning we take a hike into a nearby villages and into the mountains then onto Quan Ba Heaven Gate. The gate is the narrow slot between two peaks that are lowered and extended enough for the road to pass. Beautiful hiking trails and villagers greet us at Quan Ba. The terrain features verdant and small hillocks, seasonal farmlands, beautiful valleys and is home to Dao ethnic people. During our hike we take time to meet the locals going about the daily life. This is followed by our return journey to Hanoi, arriving there at around 6pm.
