Amazingly, you can still see remains of temples, villas and streets look more or less as they did 2,000 years ago. After a light lunch, you'll visit the summit of Mt Vesuvius, the only active volcano on Europe's mainland.

Please note: The official ticket price for Pompeii is €20 for adults, with a reduced rate of €2 for EU citizens aged 18–25. Admission is free for children under 18, visitors with disabilities (plus one companion), and all guests on the first Sunday of each month. Entry to Mount Vesuvius is €11,68 adult and €9,55 reduced
