Three of Lebanon's most extraordinary natural experiences — underground, mountaintop, and deep inside a mountain gorge — in one private day from Beirut. The combination is not the obvious one, and that is the point. Most day trips head to Jeita and Harissa and stop there. This one goes further north to Baatara — a 255-metre waterfall dropping through three natural stone bridges inside a limestone sinkhole that looks engineered but was carved entirely by water over millions of years. Most travelers who visit it say it is the most surprising thing they saw in Lebanon.
