Here is a journey full of contrasts to discover authentic Scotland, which will allow you to delve into Scottish folklore and discover natural and urban landscapes. We will begin the journey following the path of the fairies and gnomes to Lake Katrine, a magical corner that inspires legends and spectacular views.
Next, we will head to the shores of Loch Lomond, the country's largest lake, located in the heart of the Trossachs National Park. Here you can delight in the spectacular nature of the landscapes, enjoy a break for lunch, and admire the nature surrounding this emblematic region of Scotland.
Finally, we will head to the Scottish economic capital: Glasgow. The Kelvingrove museum, its medieval cathedral, its Victorian buildings, and the renovation of the River Clyde waterfront in 2014 turned this city into the British capital of architecture.
Guests must show up at the meeting point 15 minutes before the tour departs.
We finished the tour in Edinburgh's New Town, between Hanover Street and George Street.
Before continuing to the spectacular Lake Katrine, we will take a short break to allow passengers to stretch and relax before continuing to enjoy the journey.
Lake Katrine is said to be the most beautiful lake in Scotland and will be the next point on our tour. You will have the opportunity to take a walk on the lake that will fall in love with you. For literary enthusiasts it will be exciting to discover that this place was a source of inspiration for Sir Walter Scott, Scotland’s foremost writer as he lived on the shores of the lake his exile Rob Roy, hero of the Jacobite Wars and protagonist of one of his novels. Even Queen Victoria surrendered to the charms of the landscape that surrounds this magnificent lake located in the Highlands, as did “Lady of the Lake”.
We will continue to the shores of Loch Lomond, the largest lake in the UK. Here we can walk, take pictures and admire the stunning views that make it one of Scotland’s most iconic holiday destinations.
We will take a 20-minute stop at Glasgow Cathedral
The birthplace of the Industrial Revolution and social movements, Glasgow is by rights Scotland's economic capital. There we will move to silhouette an overview of the social, commercial and cultural reality of this city. We will follow the course of the River Clyde, where the city grew throughout its history. We will see this evolution in an exclusively panoramic tour: Castle Street, Green Park, the buildings of the International Exhibition of 1888, the renovation of the city established by Norman Foster for the Commonwealth Games of 2014, the University and the Kelvingrove Museum. Finally, we will have the opportunity to make a stop in George Square to enjoy a short walk through the city center.
