Travel across Sicily to discover Mount Etna, Europe’s highest active volcano, with free time at Rifugio Sapienza at approximately 1,800 meters above sea level.
OPTION 1: Etna & Taormina Full-Day Tour
Enjoy about 2.5 hours of free time on Mount Etna with the possibility to purchase the optional ascent to approximately 2,800 meters by cable car and 4x4 vehicle (€85 approx., paid on site). Continue to Taormina for independent sightseeing and free time. No guided visit or entrance tickets included. Total duration: approximately 12 hours.
OPTION 2: Mount Etna Only from Palermo
Spend more time on Mount Etna with approximately 3.5–4 hours of free time at Rifugio Sapienza. Optional ascent available at extra cost. Includes round-trip transportation and tour escort assistance. Total duration: approximately 11 hours.
Please note: this is not a hiking tour and no trekking guide is included.

Departure is Fixed at 6:40am from Piazza Ruggero Settimo 15 (between Prada Store and Hotel Politeama) please be ready 10 minutes before. Due to traffic, the pick-up could be arranged with a flexibility of approx 15 minutes.
