Surf, explore and experience Byron like a local.
Go beyond the usual surf lesson and discover some of the Northern Rivers’ best waves with our local instructors. As one of the only surf school licensed to run group lessons in both Byron Bay and the Ballina–Lennox Head area, we can take you to the right beach for the conditions on the day. With over 30 years experience there is no one better to get you surfing!
Your half-day adventure includes transfers from our check-in centre, expert surf coaching and all the essentials to help you progress—from warm-up and paddling to catching waves and standing up.
More than just surfing, it’s a chance to explore hidden corners of the coast, learn about the local area and experience the laid-back surf culture that makes this part of Australia so special.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
- Please meet us at least 20 mins prior to your lesson at our HQ 5/11 Fletcher St Byron Bay with swimmers, open toed footwear and a towel. We are located in the small arcade in between No Bones and Temple Tattoo.
What to expect
Covering all the basics from warm-up to paddling, catching waves and standing! The tour price includes transfers to and from our check-in centre right in town, alongside refining your technique, you'll also embark on a journey of learning, adventure, and cultural immersion as we explore diverse destinations together.
