1Diamond Head State Monument
You'll be picked up in your Waikīkī hotel lobby and driven inside Diamond Head State Monument while your driver shares the story of Lēʻahi, its volcanic origins, its history as part of Oʻahu's 1908 coastal defense, and what you'll see on the trail. You have two hours to complete the 0.8-mile summit hike at your own pace, climbing switchbacks, stairs, and a 225-foot tunnel to 360-degree views of the coastline. Return with the shuttle, or take your time and ride the Green Line trolley back.
