Meet the Papadopoulos family outside the cable car station at the top, in Fira Town (above Yalos Fira old port). Stroll the caldera rim past viewpoints to the Blue Dome—3 Bells of Fira. Take a short walk through historic lanes and hidden corners of Fira and the catholic neighbourhood of Firostefani.
Under the old vine, step into genuine Greek hospitality. Learn the traditional tzatziki and the famous Greek salad, then share a family-style "mezze" with Santorini wine. Learn a few dance steps, clap along to bouzouki, and of course, smash plates—OPA!
If Yiayia is in the mood, she might do some Greek coffee fortune reading. Finish near Fira Orthodox Cathedral, leaving you in the center for more exploring.
