  Daxu Ancient Town

  At 10:00 AM, your tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby, holding a sign, and you will then take a 40-minute drive to Daxu Ancient Town. A historic riverside town over 1,000 years old, known for its well-preserved Ming and Qing dynasty architecture and original bluestone streets. Unlike more commercialized towns, it offers a glimpse of authentic local life and is free to enter.

  Li River

  Next, you will board an electric bamboo raft for the highlight section of the Li River cruise. Along the way, you'll pass iconic sights such as the Nine Horse Fresco Hill and the Yellow Cloth Reflection, the very scenery printed on the 20-yuan banknote. The gentle breeze, the lapping water, and the timeless beauty of the Li River make this an unforgettable experience, a journey through a living Chinese landscape painting.

  Xianggong Mountain

  Afterwards, you will head to Xianggong Hill. Xianggong Hill is very famous, and from its summit you can enjoy a panoramic view of the First Bend of the Li River, where the river makes a dramatic U-shaped turn surrounded by layered karst peaks. It is one of the best spots for photography, especially at sunrise when mist often fills the valley and creates a breathtaking sea of clouds.

  Xingping Town

  Xingping sits along the most scenic stretch of the Li River and is best known as the backdrop of the 20-yuan banknote. You can walk along the old street to see traditional buildings and local shops, or head to the riverbank to enjoy the classic view of karst peaks reflected on the water. It is also a great base for bamboo rafting and hiking, and a perfect place to slow down and take in the timeless charm of the Li River.

  Impression Sanjie Liu

  At 7:30 or 8:00 pm, Impression Sanjie Liu is a large-scale outdoor performance staged on the Li River itself, with twelve karst peaks serving as the natural backdrop. You will see a cast of over 600 performers, most of whom are local villagers and fishermen, bringing the story of the Zhuang people to life. The show features traditional folk songs, dazzling light effects, and dramatic staging that blends seamlessly with the surrounding mountains and water. If you prefer to stay in Yangshuo, simply let you guide know in advance and you will be provided with directions to your accommodation. After a wonderful day in Yangshuo, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Guilin. It takes about 1.5 hours for transportation.
