Tianmen Mountain is a must-see highlight of Zhangjiajie whereyou can experience the 4 World Guinness Records: World longest Cablecar,Tianmen 99 Bends of Tianmen Road( the shortest distance has most road turnings),The World Big Natural Hole in the body of a mountain, the wolrd longest mountain escalator, in addtion for 2 more exciting spots, the Tianmen Glass Walk with 500m vertical drop and 999 heavenly stair. You will be definitely be dazzled by this unbeliavable mountain. Route A Ticket: Cablecar up-Mountain top circled Trip-Escalator down-Tianmen Cave-Bus down to the mountain foot. Route B Ticket: Route A reversed. Route C:Bus up & down(only appears in very busy season)

The original name of this place is called Wangcun(King Village). Historically speaking, It’s 1 of 4 famous old towns with crucial locations in Western part of Hunan, which used to be very prosperous in ancient times. Now it’s still well-preserved in shape.However, Wangcun gains a much bigger fame by a controversial movie named “Furong Town”, it’s been acknowledged as the one of the best movies in all time in China’s movie industry.but due to the sensitive story about how people’s life is sadly impacted&changed by a row of political movements during different periods of China.so the movie is banned in market,and Wangcun is the very shooting spot for this movie. So the town is also named Furong town after the movie.
