  Taj Mahal

  At 9:50 AM, your driver and local tour guide will be waiting for you at Agra Cantonment railway station, holding a placard with your name so they're easy to find. From there, you'll head straight to the Taj Mahal. This stunning white marble monument is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and a true symbol of love. Built in 1632 by Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal, the Taj Mahal sits peacefully along the Yamuna River. It’s more than just a tomb — the entire 42-acre complex includes a mosque, guest house, and beautiful gardens surrounded by high red sandstone walls. Your guide will walk you through the rich history, architecture, and romantic legacy of this world-famous site.

  Agra Fort

  Next, you'll visit Agra Fort—one of the most important historical sites in India. Once the main residence of the Mughal emperors until the capital moved to Delhi in 1638, this massive red sandstone fort is filled with palaces, courtyards, and stories from the past. Also known as Lal Qila or Fort Rouge, it’s a place where history truly comes to life.

  Your next stop is the Tomb of I'timād-ud-Daulah, often nicknamed the "Baby Taj." This beautifully detailed Mughal mausoleum is known for its delicate carvings and inlaid marble work, earning it the nickname “jewel box.” It's a quieter, less crowded spot that offers a peaceful glimpse into Mughal art and architecture.

  You’ll return to Agra Cantonment railway station by 5:30 PM to catch your train back to Delhi. The Gatimaan Express departs at 5:45 PM and gets you to Nizamuddin Railway Station in Delhi by 7:30 PM—a smooth and quick 1.5-hour journey to end your day.
