Afterward is a great time to explore the coastal protected area. Our itinerary includes a trip to Cape San Lorenzo and a beautiful strand of beach, a crucial nesting site for endangered sea turtle species. After this informative visit, we’ll hike up the hill along the lighthouse path and take some rest at the roofed viewpoints. From these spots, we can enjoy breathtaking views of the surroundings and witness seabirds flying around or, if we are lucky, admire blue-footed boobies resting on the cliffside. From June to September, we might even spot humpback whales breaching in the Pacific Ocean.
