What to expect
This tour is for fit travelers only. Participants must be able to hike continuously for up to five hours with significant uphill and downhill sections. This hike covers more ground and explores glacial topography in depth, taking you through the forested area near the Nenana River, wildlife-rich sub-alpine tundra, and beautiful alpine tundra with its highly adapted plants and panoramic views.
Distance: 5-7 miles
Elevation gain: 1,500–1,800 feet
Max group size: 6 guests
