  • Notre-Dame Cathedral of Paris (Pass by)

    Explore the world-famous Notre Dame and see its incredible exterior and facade. Hear insightful stories about the flying buttresses, rose windows and the gargoyles. In 2019, a fire devastated the Notre Dame, especially the wooden spire and roof. Thanks to fundraising and rebuilding efforts, the Notre Dame was reopened in 2024 and was beautifully restored.

    The oldest church in the Latin Quarter, Saint Severin Church was named after a devout hermit who lived in the area. The belltower features the oldest church bell in Paris. The future president of France, François Mitterrand, was married in this church.

    Sorbonne University is the second oldest university in Europe and is one of the most prestigious in France. Founded in the 13th century by Robert de Sorbon, the school initially taught theology for poorer students. It has since welcomed famous professors and alumni over the years, including Marie Curie, Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre.
