This morning, your tour guide will pick up you at the hotel and take you to visit Tiananmen Square. You will see what the biggest urban city square in the world looks like.
After visiting the Tiananmen Square, you will enter the Forbidden City to explore its fascinating halls and pavilions. Here, you will learn how the emperor handled political affairs and lived their lives and appreciate numerous ancient art treasures. We will serve your lunch today at a good local restaurant nearby.
Afterwards, you will see the Temple of Heaven, with its unique architecture, where the emperors worshipped the heavens in hopes of good harvests.
Tonight, we will arrange for you to enjoy the wonderful acrobatic show in the Red Theater. We specially serve you a welcome a la carte dinner (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in tour price) at a popular restaurant, where you can have a taste of the most famous Peking Roast Duck and other authentic typical dishes.
This morning, drive to the Mutianyu Great Wall to experience at first hand the wonder of the Great Wall. The round-trip cable car will be arranged. Standing on the wall and looking at it stretching up and down into boundless distance is an exciting experience and will leave you a life-long memory. To celebrate and commemorate this moment, we specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. After enjoying a buffet lunch, we will return downtown.
Drive back down and take a photo stop at the Olympic National Stadium (Bird's Nest), you will see its magnificent appearance from a distance.
Afterwards, you will take a rickshaw tour to explore the original Hutong alleys and have a chance to visit a local family.
After seeing giant pandas in the morning, you will visit the Summer Palace - the largest existing imperial garden with a graceful landscape and magnificent constructions.
After lunch, transfer you to the railway station to take a high speed train to Xi'an. Upon your arrival, your local guide will meet you at the station and escort you to the downtown hotel. The duration is around 4.5 to 5.5 hours. It is a good opportunity to experience China's fast-growing high-speed rail.
In the morning, start your visit from the magnificent Terracotta Army. In the museum, there are three excavated pits displaying amazing warrior figures and Chinese ancient weapons. Afterwards, have a family visit to the home of the first discoverer of the Terracotta Army. And then make a mini clay warrior by yourself with the help of a local artisan. Then enjoy your lunch at a good local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which was built in the Tang Dynasty (618–907 AD) to store the Buddhist scriptures brought from ancient India.
A splendid evening awaits when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show while partaking in the famous Dumpling Dinner.
The day begins with a leisure visit to the City Wall Park, where you can observe the day-to-day life of the locals. Here you can also learn to practice Tai Chi with the master. Tai Chi, a soft form of Chinese martial arts, is considered the quintessential Chinese culture. After that, you will visit to the City Wall. It is the most complete existing urban fortification in China. Cycling on the ancient wall is an exciting experience that many people like to try (bike rental fee is not included).
Afterwards, you'll have lunch at a well-known restaurant in the Muslim Quarter. Here you will find various local snacks or flavors, like sweet steamed rice, green bean cake, persimmon cake, rice cake, etc.
Extend to Great Mosque, one of the largest and best-preserved Islam mosques in China. Here you can appreciate the integration of different cultures, which has combined the characteristics of Chinese classical architecture with religious colors.
Afterwards, visit Shaanxi History Museum, known as the pearl of Xi'an and the treasury of China for storing and exhibiting historical relics unearthed from this land, where the capital of thirteen ancient dynasties of China is located. If the Shaanxi History Museum is not available, alternatively, the famous Forest of Stone Steles Museum will be arranged instead.
Catch a morning flight to Guilin. Upon your arrival, your local guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area and take you to the hotel for check-in.
Visit the famous Reed Flute Cave, which is a 240-meter karst cave that has various shapes of stalactites and stalagmites.
Then you will head to Elephant Trunk Hill. The hill is shaped like a giant elephant drinking water from the river with its long trunk, hence the name. After that, you will be transferred back to the hotel.
Take a cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo. Li River is the essence of the landscape in this area, especially the section from Guilin to Yangshuo, which is reputed as 'A Hundred Miles Gallery'. The cruise ship will arrive at Yangshuo in about 4.5 hours.
After docking at Yangshuo, you will walk through the well-known West Street. Then you will enjoy the amazing rural scenery as we drive along the country roads of Yangshuo. En route, you will be invited to visit a villager's home. After that, transfer you back to Guilin.
You have the whole morning to explore Guilin city on your own.
In the afternoon, our guide will send you to the Guilin West Railway Station for a high speed train ride to Zhangjiajie, which takes about 7 hours. Upon arrival, the guide based there will pick you up at the station’s exit and take you straight to the hotel near the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
Your guide will take you to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park where you will visit many scenic spots, such as Tianzi mountain, Hallelujah Mountain, Yangjiajie Scenic Area with Natural Great Wall, Tianzi Mountain by cable car down. The spectacular Bailong Sight-seeing Elevator in Yuanjiajie takes visitors rapidly up to the mountain top, where you get a magnificent vista. Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve is hailed as 'the Monarch of the Peak Forest', so you can imagine how magnificent it is. After a day’s sightseeing, take the cable car down the mountain and get back to your hotel for rest.
After breakfast, we will drive you for around 40 minutes to Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon, the city’s third largest scenic area. You will have a chance to cross the world's highest and longest glass bridge.
In the afternoon, continue your exploration along Golden Whip Stream inside the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Golden Whip Stream, with overlapping peaks, rippling waters, verdant forests and tranquil valleys gives everyone an enjoyable experience.
This morning, you will come to visit the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park. Walking on the world's longest cable-way, you can take in the beautiful scenery on the Tianmen mountain, which is the highest mountain in Zhangjiajie City.
After the sightseeing, your guide and driver will transport you to the Zhangjiajie Airport. You will take flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, the local guide will meet you and help you check in the hotel in downtown.
This morning, Your local tour guide will pick you up at your hotel. You will visit one of the four largest museums in China, Shanghai Museum, which specializes in exhibiting art works from ancient times.
Then, come to the Yu Garden - one of the attractions that you cannot miss in Shanghai. The symbol of the Garden is the Nine Zigzag Bridge built of granite and grass-white jade and the quaint, elegant mid-lake pavilion. Later, we will leave you some time at the nearby Yu bazaar.
After that, stroll along the thriving Bund area and then take a one-hour cruise tour on the Huangpu River.
After breakfast at the hotel, please find your own way to the airport for your homeward flight. Due to different flight schedules, the hotel-airport transfer service is not included. However, we would be happy to assist you if needed.
