Your expert guide will lead you on a shortcut to the best vantage point overlooking the main star: the ‘Avatar’ Hallelujah Mountain. Then, navigate the cliffside trails of Yuanjiajie to admire nature’s finest masterpieces like the Back Garden, Enchanting Platform, and First Bridge Under Heaven. Meals are intentionally left flexible. We recommend having a hearty breakfast and packing some snacks. Fast-food outlets are the most reliable for lunch: Dicos in Yuanjiajie, McDonald’s at Tianzi Mountain, and McDonald’s near Tianmen Mountain on Day 2. Local dishes tend to be spicy and greasy; if you’d like to have a try, we suggest asking for smaller portions and milder flavors.
