Today, your tour will start with an exploration of to Tiwanaku Ruins. Lunch will also be served here. Our guide and driver in La Paz will greet you at the hotel lobby and then escort you to Tiwanaku, taking about 2 hours on the way. This ancient ruin consists of palaces, temples and pyramids, which are considered as one of the best places to explore the lost Inca traditions and civilization. After the visit, we will go back to the hotel for overnight.

Drive to Copacabana, Stay in Isla del Sol

This morning we will drive to coastal Copacabana town, which will take 3-3.5 hours. On the way, we need to transfer to a motorboat to sail through the Tiquina Strait for 20 minutes.

Isla del Sol
After arrival, continue to take a speed boat for about 50 minutes to Isla del Sol. Then disembark and have lunch. In the afternoon, we will head forward to the Pilko Kaina Inca Palace. The complex ruin is said to have been built by the Incan emperor, Tupacinca Yupanqui. After the visit, you will need to hike up to the hotel on the island in about 1.5 hours. The breathtaking view of Lake Titicaca will feast your eyes along the hiking.
