Rishikesh sits peacefully along the Ganges at the foothills of the lower Himalayas. It is best known as the Yoga and Adventure Capital of the World and is one of the perfect destinations for wellness, nature, and outdoor adventures.

Since we are based in Rishikesh and are locals, we know this place better than anyone else. We have carefully designed this trip from Delhi, combining a full-day Himalayan sunrise trek with yoga and meditation activities. The highlights of this tour include the Kunjapuri Sunrise Trek, a hike to a living caves, and a visit to the Beatles Ashram.

Beyond these experiences, you will also visit iconic landmarks such as the Laxman Jhula and Ram Jhula suspension bridges, and witness the enchanting Ganga Aarti.

    Day 1: Arrival in Rishikesh Early in the morning after breakfast, you will meet your driver at the designated location, and he will take you to Rishikesh within 6 hours, the Yoga Capital of India. It sits on the banks of the River Ganges, surrounded by the foothills of the Himalayas. Rishikesh has long been a famous destination for adventure, yoga, meditation, and spiritual learning. The town hosts numerous traditional ashrams, temples, and Babas (holy men), creating a divine atmosphere that vibrates with devotion and spiritual energy. Once you arrive check in and walk with guide ( No Car ), visit the sacred ghats along the Ganges, where you can observe rituals, watch sadhus bathing, or simply sit and enjoy the evening, Ganga Aarti. Spend the first day exploring the activities along the Ganges at your own pace before checking in to your Om Homestay for an overnight stay.

    Day 02: Kunjapuri Temple Sunrise and Downhill Trek

    Kunjapuri is a mountaintop temple located just 1 hour by road from Rishikesh. It sits atop a hill at an altitude of 1,700. Your pickup starts early in the morning, between 4:30 AM and 5:00 AM. The departure time may vary depending on the sunrise time. Once you arrive, there is a climb of 350 steps to reach the top. Watching the sunrise from the summit is breathtaking. Enter the temple for blessings before starting the 9 km / 3-hour downhill trek, passing through remote villages, enjoying distant views of the Ganges Valley, walking along raw lush green trails, and jumping into the biggest natural waterfall pool for a breathtaking experience. After reaching Neer Gaddu Waterfall, your driver will pick you up and drop you off at your homestay. Once you reach your homestay, you are free to explore the town on your own, or you can opt to go for a massage, or simply walk to the riverbank, which is 15 minutes away on foot, to relax and enjoy the musical evening at Sai Ghat.

    Walk to Visit without Guide, explore on your own, It is one of the oldest suspension bridge and oldest part of Tapovan of Rishikesh , where Lord Laxman performed austerity before going up in the Himalayas,. So it is an ancient site where pilgrims visit the river bank with temple. The best site along the Ganges to relax and reflect and observing the evening rituals that takes place each evening around 6 PM at adjacent Ghat is called Sai Ghat

    Walk to Visit without Guide, explore on your own,: One of the newest Ghat of Tapovan area of Rishikesh famous for evening rituals is Maha Mangal ganga aarti, just on the right bank of the holy river Ganges. This ghat is less crowded comparing other ghats of Rishikesh , provide the sitting area and cafe, and hiking trail towards upstream where you can enjoy bathing , beach walking and relaxing.

    Full Day Hike into Rajaji National Park with Beatles Ashram

    Early morning, around 7:00 AM, go for a 90-minute yoga practice with renowned yoga teacher of Rishikesh, Mr. Ravi Bisht. Afterward, have breakfast. On the third day, there is no transportation; hiking into the Rajaji National Park area to visit two living caves. One is connected with the Beatles, and the other is connected with Kriya Yoga. Meet your guide and walk along the Ganges. Cross the Lakshman Jhula glass bridge and follow the river downstream towards Bhootnath Temple, climb to the top, enjoy the panoramic views of Rishikesh, take pictures, and receive blessings. Then continue the uphill hike to visit Tat Wale Baba, a mystic guru whom the Beatles met once. The cave is mystical, once lived Tat Wale Babaji, i. Some sannyasis still live inside the cave. After that, resume your hike towards Mauni Baba Cave, which is connected with Kriya Yoga. Meet the living Jatadhari sadhu. Finally, hike down to visit the Beatles Ashram, where your tour concludes.

    Triveni Ghat

    Early morning, go for a yoga session. Return from the yoga session, have a leisurely breakfast, check out, and drive towards Delhi. On the way, meet your guide to visit Bharat Mandir, one of the oldest temples, dating back to the 10th century, along with its site museum, where artifacts date from the 3rd century BCE to the 12th century AD. Bharat Mandir is located in downtown Rishikesh, in the busy marketplace. Afterwards, visit Triveni Ghat, one of the oldest parts of Rishikesh, where three mythical rivers meet. It is one of the most happening places in Rishikesh, filled with devotees, sadhus, babas, rituals, and a bustling market that has attracted pilgrims since ancient times. Walk through heritage buildings, ashrams, shops, temples, and vibrant lanes that remind you of times gone by. Later, meet your driver and continue to your final destination, Delhi. Once you arrive, your tour ends.

    Bharat Mandir

    The oldest and most ancient temple in Rishikesh is known as Bharat Mandir, and the presiding deity inside is Lord Rishikesh. The town of Rishikesh is believed to have been named after this temple. This temple is unique and highly revered by Hindus. Beside the temple is an archaeological site museum, where the artifacts date back to the 3rd century BCE.
