Coffee with Cooper was created to make Charleston history more comfortable and accessible. You can explore the city’s past without spending hours walking outdoors—an inviting option for visitors who prefer to sit, need a break from the weather, or have mobility challenges. We wanted more people to be able to enjoy Charleston’s history, whatever the forecast or their ability to walk.
Cooper brings an exceptional background to every conversation. He holds a PhD, earned three degrees, and formerly taught at the University of South Carolina.
