What to expect
If you choose the market tour option, meet Jorge at Mercado Municipal de Matosinhos, a traditional Portuguese market just outside Porto. The market offers fresh vegetables, fruits, meats & some of the region’s best fresh fish. Explore the stalls with Jorge, meet local vendors, and shop for seasonal ingredients. After the market tour, enjoy a 20-minute drive to Jorge’s home, where you'll cook a Portuguese meal from scratch.

- If you choose the market tour option, please note that Jorge's car can only accommodate 3 people. For groups of 3+ you need to arrange your own taxi from the market to Jorge's home.
- For the 4:00 PM tour, instead of the market visit, the host shall offer a visit to two excellent local street shops. These are authentic, high-quality local businesses that provide a great alternative experience.
