  Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station

  We will pick you up at the lobby of your designated hotel early in the morning and transfer to Shanghai Hongqiao station/Shanghai station. Board the morning bullet train and fly to Hangzhou.

  West Lake (Xi Hu)

  Upon arriving in Hangzhou, you will be greeted by our driver with a luxury private transfer. We will retrace the footsteps of world leaders to visit each of the Ten Scenes of West Lake. To avoid tourist crowds, we will take a traditional punt boat to cruise deep into the Inner West Lake. Afterwards, we head to West Lake State Guesthouse, where state leaders stayed during the summit, to admire the stunning West Lake scenery from exclusive vantage points. You will enjoy full VIP treatment throughout the day, free from the hustle and bustle of crowded mass tourism. After the guided tour of the state guesthouse, we proceed to an upscale restaurant beside West Lake, located right next to Quyuan Fenghe (Lotus Breeze at Crooked Courtyard). While feasting on refined premium Hangzhou cuisine, you may gaze upon blooming lotus flowers across the lake

  In the afternoon, we travel to Meijiawu Village, the renowned birthplace of premium West Lake Longjing Tea. Immerse yourself in the profound tea culture of Hangzhou as we learn about the full lifecycle of this world-famous green tea, from hand tea-picking techniques to traditional hand-roasting craftsmanship passed down for generations. Conclude the visit with an authentic tea-tasting session, where you get to savour a freshly brewed cup of genuine Longjing tea amid the lush rolling tea terraces.

  To wrap up the day, we offer a visit to the renowned China National Silk Museum in Hangzhou. Hangzhou has enjoyed a millennia-long reputation as a premier silk production hub in China, with a profound and splendid silk cultural heritage spanning thousands of years. Here you can explore ancient silk relics, traditional hand-weaving craftsmanship and a stunning array of exquisite silk artworks showcasing the city’s time-honored textile legacy. Please note this segment is an optional add-on. We are flexible to include or remove this stop entirely based on your personal interests and preferences.

  At the end of the day, your professional guide will escort your group to the railway station, where you will board a high-speed bullet train back to Shanghai. For the train ride, seating tiers are available for you to choose from at your convenience: premium Business Class, First Class or Second Class, simply pick whichever suits your preference.
