This tour includes a visit at the Salvatore Ferragamo shoe museum which displays photos, sketches, trademarks and a collection of shoes designed by Salvatore and his daughter. Historically, the brand has been closely associated with iconic figures such as Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, and Princess Diana, helping to shape an image of sophisticated and understated elegance.
The tour includes a visit to the Farmacia of Santa Maria Novella, that opened to the public in 1612 and still preserves 14th century frescoes. It sells the original Dominican monks’ products like perfumes, soaps, and “medicines”. A visit to the nearby Church of Santa Maria Novella is also included.
