Tirta Empul is one of Bali's most sacred temples, fed by holy spring waters believed to hold powerful curative and purifying properties. This full-day private tour combines an authentic Balinese blessing ceremony with a visit to Besakih, the most revered temple complex on the island.At Tampak Siring, dressed in traditional sarong and sash, a temple priest asks the gods for permission before you enter the bathing pools for the purification ceremony. Offerings are provided, and the ritual unfolds as it has for generations, one of the most profound spiritual experiences available to visitors in Bali.The journey continues to Besakih Temple on the slopes of Mount Agung, Bali's highest volcano. Known as the Mother Temple of Bali, the complex of nearly 24 temples houses ancestral shrines for all Hindu Balinese.Lunch at a local restaurant is included. Pickup and dropoff from South Bali area. Note: not operated on Nyepi Day (Bali's Day of Silence, date varies annually).

    Tirta Empul Temple

    Transfer from your hotel to Tampak Siring village before undertaking a spiritual cleansing ritual at Tirta Empul temple. It has several fountains with holy spring water surrounded by a large shrine to honour the God Indra. Here you will have a purifying blessing ceremony in the bathing pools which are believed to have strong curative powers (Simple offering provided with sarong used for bathing).

    Besakih Temple

    After the blessing, proceed to Besakih Temple located on the slope of Mount Agung, Bali highest volcano. It is called the Mother Temple of Bali as it houses ancestral shrines for all of the Hindu Balinese and is a complex of nearly 24 temples. Afterward drive back to your hotel in Ubud or South Bali
