Mai Chau is a popular destination in Vietnam, we will still give you the chance to visit the main tourist sight but stay overnight in a more rural village. You will go on a trek to visit other villages where you may be the only tourist in the whole area.
Another new famous site in Northern Vietnam is Pu Luong Nature Reserve – a village home of the White Thai, Black Thai, and Muong Ethnic Minority communities. The scenery is well-known for large rice terraces and floating clouds like Sapa but much less touristic. This is a great location for hiking and hard trek through the forest and experience the simple life.

It’s a unique opportunity to connect with the culture and way of life in Vietnam’s remote highlands. as we travel through verdant hills and rural villages toward the scenic valley. 10:30 – Along the way to Mai Chau, pause at Thung Khe Pass, known for its panoramic vistas and dramatic limestone cliffs. 11:00 – Upon arrival in Mai Chau, you’ll be warmly welcomed by a local host. Sit down to enjoy a freshly prepared, home-cooked lunch featuring regional specialties. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a taste of community life, served with genuine hospitality. After lunch, take time to explore the local village.

Chat with locals and gain insight into religious beliefs, folklore, and the deep-rooted heritage that defines life in Mai Chau. 16:00 – As the sun begins to set, relax in the vehicle and enjoy the scenic drive back to Hanoi, arriving in the early evening.
