BEYOND MASS TOURISM: REAL TUSCAN LIFE
First E-bike tour in Tuscany since 2011, led by native guides. Away from Florence's bustle, we limit rides to a MICRO-GROUP OF MAX 4 PEOPLE ONLY for a premium, personal experience.
This is a deep immersion into real local life. We ride 30-40 km (19-25mi) on premium e-bikes, with the final route decided on the day to match your pace and preferences.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE:
• HISTORY: Ride Etruscan roads (200 BC) and the Via degli Dei, where Leonardo dreamed of flight and Dante met Beatrice.
• HIDDEN GEMS: See panoramic views, Michelangelo’s childhood home, or a monk monastery at 800m (2,600ft).
• LOCAL FLAVORS (ALL INCLUDED): Stop at a farm to pick up fresh bread, cheese, fruit, and veggies. Then, reach a family estate producing extra virgin olive oil and wine, where we prepare and enjoy our traditional meal together. Everything is fully included!
Escape crowds and join a native for an exclusive day.
Fiesole is convenient to get to by public bus from Florence center:bus #7 price €1.70 departure every 15 minutes, journey times 15 minutes,7 days a week. The #7 bus terminal in Florence is Piazza della Libertà 15 minutes walk distance from the Duomo.I'll tell you the timetable.By cab about 10 minutes.
Thanks to its elevated position, Fiesole has always been one of the most popular places for Florentines and tourists to enjoy the view over Florence and the Arno valley, but also to look out over the wonderful Tuscan countryside that surrounds the village. Fiesole is only 4 miles away from the center of Florence but outside the city, making it the best starting point to really explore the Tuscan countryside without going too far from the town but away from crowded places.
The hilltop town of Fiesole has panoramic views of Florence away from the crowds. The Renaissance City and all her vibrant terracotta rooftops and towers are as visible atop Fiesole, as they are if you were standing at Piazzale Michelangelo in Florence itself, only with far fewer people admiring her gorgeous view.
Scenic views of Tuscan countryside as well as just being just a 20 minute bus ride from Florence's center.
