Live an authentic gastronomic experience in San Andrés Calpan, a community located in the foothills of the majestic Popocatépetl and recognized as the birthplace of chile en nogada.
After picking you up at your hotel in Puebla, you will travel to the home of a local traditional cook, who will open the doors of her home to share with you recipes, stories and traditions handed down from generation to generation. The experience begins in your garden, where you will collect some of the fresh ingredients you will use during class.
Afterwards, you will learn how to prepare an authentic chili pepper in nogada step by step, using local ingredients and traditional techniques. More than a cooking class, this is an opportunity to live with a Poblano family, learn about their lifestyle and discover the cultural and gastronomic richness of the region.
