A guided Dine-Around through America’s birthplace, blending the story of 1776 with the flavors of present-day Philadelphia. Feast your eyes and taste buds on Philadelphia’s most iconic foods and their foundations as you explore Old City, the neighborhood at the heart of the nation’s founding, on this 4-course Dine-Around.
You’ll start near Independence Hall with hearty dishes and lesser-told stories that go beyond what’s in the textbooks. From there, stroll cobblestone alleyways and visit must-see landmarks while your guide shares how Philly’s food scene evolved from revolutionary roots to modern flavors and how Old City fits into the 250-year story of the United States.
Along the way, you’ll stop at a spirited pub known for Creole cuisine and tales of colonial sailors, then wrap up at America’s oldest confectionery/creamery for a sweet finish. Expect a satisfying meal spread across four carefully chosen eateries, plus plenty of time to soak in Old City’s architecture and atmosphere.

Please meet your guide INSIDE the Visitor Center at the back end. Look for the large tapestry hanging on the wall directly across from the Art Star gallery near the cafe (opposite end from the gift shop). Your guide will be wearing a maroon City Food Tours shirt. Plan to arrive 10 minutes early.
Ends in Shane's Confectionery, which is only about 4 blocks away from the starting location.
