    Chiang Mai

Leave the Old City behind. This is Chiang Mai beyond the walls, where families have cooked for generations, markets still feed the neighbourhoods and migration has woven new flavours into the city's food culture. For around 3.5 hours, we'll forage our way through local streets, family-run food spots, markets and roadside stalls, travelling between neighbourhoods in a Chiang Mai red truck and tasting our way through the city. Along the way, we'll uncover the legacy of Lanna food traditions, Chinese and regional influences that have travelled here over generations. Expect smoky grills, rich curries, silky noodles, fiery dips, crisp market bites and dishes shaped by generations of Chinese influence, plus a few delicious surprises we’d rather let you discover on the night. These aren't places chosen for tourists, they're part of the fabric of the neighbourhoods, and the kind of food stories you'd be unlikely to discover on your own. Come curious. Follow the food. See where it takes you.

    Chiang Mai

Our evening winds its way towards the Ping River, where the food trail takes one final turn. After hours of wandering, tasting and uncovering the stories of Chiang Mai's neighbourhoods, we'll settle into a local riverside drinking house, the perfect place to slow down, raise a glass and let the evening unfold. We won't give away too much about the final stop... let's just say the river, a local drink and good company are waiting.
