You will learn how to carve a unique seal with a mater at the holy site of seal carving- Xiling Seal Engraver's Society. It was listed as the intangible heritage by UNESCO in 2009. Master will show you step by step how calligraphy and carving combined and you will experience the whole process. Master will help to correct your work into a perfect after you try your best.

    In China, a signature is more than a scribble in a page. For thousands of years, your identity was carved in stone. This is Seal Carving-Zhuanke. It uses "Seal Script" an ancient style of writing made specifically for blade, not the brush. The carver works with a steel blade on soft stone, where every single cut has to be final. Unlike painting, the is no "undo" button here. A great seal tells you a lot about the artist. You will be shown step by step and make your own unique personal seal.
